Teesside 'You can Caravan' Show takes place 16-19th March
Adria - You Can Caravan Show
Adria owners are extended a very warm welcome to come along and enjoy the activities at the ‘You Can Caravan Show’ which will run from Friday March 16th until Monday March 19th 2012 at the Teesside Caravans complex in Thornaby, and could provide you with all the information on the fantastic new Adria ranges.
With FREE admission and FREE onsite parking, the show will be the first event of its kind in the North East, which traditionally has not been well catered for, with caravaners having to travel to the NEC, Birmingham or Excel, London to be able to experience this all in one place. It is hoped this will be an annual event providing caravan and motorhome with a one stop place to experience everything to do with caravan or motorhome holidays.
Adria club members will have the opportunity to see the new 2012 ranges with the exciting latest Astella layout being debuted. Any Adria Club members who attend will no doubt take the opportunity to catch up with old friends including Owners Club Chairperson Peter Philips who will be in attendance from Friday until Sunday. There is a relaxing lounge area where free tea, coffee and biscuits served during the events to Adria owners.
There will be something for everyone, free demonstrations including how to erect awnings, the ease of using motor movers, quick set up and pack away tips plus question and answer sessions from a team of experts, will run throughout the four day period to help take out some of the perceived complications of caravanning.

Lowdhams Leisureworld hand over the prize of 2 Big Fish Bikes to the lucky winner!
Lowdhams Leisureworld hosted the very susscessful East Midlands Caravan Show at thier Nottingham depot over the 17, 18 and 19th of February.

Peter Robinson and his family of Lincoln were drawn as the lucky recipients of the motorhome worth over £40,000! The family travelled to The Motorhome, Caravan and Camping Show to receive thier prize.
Hitchin Caravans will open a brand new site at the beginning of March!
Hitchin Caravans is delighted to announce that it will re-open this March after 18 months of closure. At its original site on the Cambridge Road, the new and used caravan and motorhome dealership will be restored to its former glory, under the ownership of Venture Caravans and the leadership of its original manager Matthew Pearson.
Situated adjacent to Hitchin Garden Centre, Hitchin Caravans will specialise in the sale of recent model pre-owned caravans, but will also stock the full Adria range of caravans and selected motorhomes, as well as Bailey motorhomes. There will also be a newly stocked accessories shop for customers to enjoy. Local caravanners will be delighted to hear that the popular caravan and motorhome dealership will not only be back to its old self on the forecourt, but the original team will be returning on site to advise on the best models, welcome and serve in the shop, and maintain the extensive range of pre-owned caravans, giving you the service and expertise the family company is renowned for.
Matthew Pearson, Manager of Hitchin Caravans who originally set up the dealership 25 years ago says, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to put Hitchin Caravans back on the map. Hitchin Caravans first opened its doors in 1988, and became one of the many successful caravan, motorhome and static caravan dealerships and holiday parks under the Amber Leisure umbrella, set up by Matthew’s brother Richard Pearson. Matthew was working as a surveyor in South Africa at the time, when his brother called and said, ‘I have a project for you’, and Hitchin Caravans was born.
It was then known as Carolina Camping, and consisted of a grass field, loosely secured with a chain fence, selling just tents. There was no running water, no buildings, and electricity was fed through an extension cable from the adjacent garden centre. It wasn’t long before Matt was heading off to Norfolk for his first caravan purchase, and soon after one caravan led to another and the business became known as Herts & Beds Caravans.
Being in the building trade Matt was soon able to develop the site, building workshops, tarmacking forecourts and car parks and planting trees. Over the next five years the company went from strength to strength, and was soon to become Hitchin Caravans, selling around 300 caravans and 150 motorhomes a year. Hitchin Caravans became one of the most successful dealerships in the area, with over 20 years of roaring trade in which the Pearson family developed a huge following and customer base, as well as respect and admiration within the industry. But due to unforeseeable family circumstances Hitchin Caravans closed in 2010. After 18 months it has been restored and revamped is open and ready for business.

Adria Coral 670SU wins Non-Fixed Bed Coachbuilt of The Year Award!
The Adria Coral 670SU has been awarded the Non-Fixed Bed Coachbuilt of the Year by Motorcaravan Monthly (MMM), the UK's best selling motorcaravan magazine and, Which Motorhome, the UK's number one magazine for motorhome testing, at thier prestigious 2012 awards.
The MMM awards are now into thier eighth year and this year MMM has joined forces with Which Motorhome, to create one set of combined awards which recognise the best new campervans and motorhomes on sale in the UK. The awards were sponsored by The Caravan Club and were held at the Luton Hoo Hotel on Thursday 12th January, with dealers and manufacturers from the motorhome industry present.
Motorhomes without fixed beds need to focus on making the lounge areas as comfortable and roomy as possible, with seating aplenty for entertaining, whether that's at the front or back of the motorhome. While an appealing lounge is prerequisite, the judges also looked for a design that ensures the rest of the motorhome is as spacious and delightful as the lounge. This means a kitchen a chef will love using, a washroom fit for a true lady and easy to make beds. In addition, because this layout sometimes means less than capacious storage, the judges wanted models that at least had external access to the underseat storage areas. The Adria Coral 670SU ticked all these boxes and more.

Our Astella receives a recommendation by Practical Caravan Magazine for Best Caravan for Couples
We always knew by launching something different into the UK market it would receive a mixture of opinions. We are however delighted that our brand new Astella had proven a huge hit with both customers and the media.

Venture Caravans hosted a very successful open weekend to celebrate the transition from Broad Lane Leisure to Venture Caravans.
They started business in 1970 as Go Camping, over the years the make up of the business changed and in 1992 changed their name to Broad Lane Leisure Daventry. 40 years on and they are now Venture Caravans.

The Carmarthen Caravan & Motorhome Show takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 16th, 17th & 18th April and is open to the public from 10am – 5pm each day. Day admission is £5 adults, £4 concessions, with no charge for children under 16. Parking is free for day visitors and good refreshments are available at the Show.
The Carmarthen Showground is easily accessible directly off the A40 (west) dual carriageway, just 18 miles from the end of the M4. Overnight caravanners and motorhome owners are welcomed to stay on the showground site during the duration of the show for a minimal fee of £30 for two people, this would include admission to the show for three days and a catalogue, two nights’ entertainment on the Friday and Saturday night with a licensed bar, and there are toilet and shower facilities on site. Fantastic success at the South West Caravan & Motorhome Show, Exeter
Both Chelston Motorhomes and Atlantic Caravans were present over 3 days at the Westoint Arena. Despite terrible weather conditions the show was extremely busy and Adria had fantastic exposure.
Atlantic Caravans' stand was dedicated solely to the Adria brand and was well recieved throughout the duration of the show by a large audience of retail customers. Once again Adria's exceptional build quality and stylish innovative design was in full recognition.
Chelston Motorhomes had their usual large presence with 2 stands both inside and outside the arena. Again flying the flag for Adria Chelston exhibited 3 vehicles from the award winning 2010 Motorhome range.

With the recent cancellation of the Shepton Mallet show back in January, Chelston were determined to give their customers a weekend to remember and they did just that. There was a huge attendance of people and every guest certainly had the opportunity to find exactly what they were looking for with such a wide selection of Motorhomes both new and used. In addition to this they were offering fantastic deals within the accessory store, free camping and evening entertainment of a live band and hog roast.
